The central meaning is the predetermination of the experience implicit in the linguistic system that each individual takes on in order to know the world and everything within it.
We are spoken to by the codes with which we are equipped and constantly immersed in a relationship of power which builds our behaviour and our desires.
There are different versions of this video and it is a research in constant evolution.
Biopolitic
A video made with images of clinical tests and medical operations.
It is an investigation into the concept of “Biopolitics” coined by the French philosopher Michel Foucault. It is a category which analyses the profound relationships that link the individual to power. This kind of link is based on a system of permanent reading of the subject in which science and technology converge. Every subject is a never-ending source of data which makes up an archive of knowledge through which it is possible to organise social behaviours.
The topics range from demographics to psychology, psycho-attitudinal tests and medical tests.
There are different versions of this video, some conceived for installation systems, and it is a research in constant development.
Mauer Park
A video made in Berlin in the Summer 2007, within the Workshop centered on "temporary art events in urban parks" (organised by Linkinart and Kai Schupke).
The works of art are accompanied by interviews with the people who hang around in Mauer Park and evidence of the life in the park, as a protest against the building project in the disused area next to the park which was destined to be an extension of the park.

Hiroshima 1945
A video made with images shot by a Japanese commission in Hiroshima three weeks after the explosion of the atomic bomb. These images (three hours of shooting without editing) were confiscated by the United States Army in 1945 and hidden. Only recently was a copy discovered in Tokyo.

Metaphor of the human condition

Human knowledge uses the form of experiment that reproduces reality or a presumed dynamic of reality in laboratory proportions and simulations as a method of awareness. Epistemology is an attempt to permanently subtract space from entropy as well as being a moral enterprise from which the criteria of validity of knowledge and models of exclusion of error derive.
But the inevitability of the error and the necessarily entropic dimension of knowledge emerge as elements that make up wisdom as opposed to excluded elements.

Urban Life.
A video which focuses on urban life as an organic unit in which elements of architecture, urban politics, human aggregates and psychic elements converge.
The town is a unit in which human affections overlap with the irreducible physical presence of the space which contains it, contributing to the formation of deep identity groups and forms of deep-rooted territoriality.
Power of the words
Video shot on Zurich station. The star is a tramp who speaks a non-language made up of sounds and personal emotivity. The arrival of the police makes him converge towards the use of shared, conventional language.
